Aryan and Sanjith

Sanjith came to our place on Saturday. He came with his parents, dada and dadi. Aryan didnot feel any stranger anxiety and started playing with Sanjith the moment he came to our place. They played with the blocks and it was so much fun watching them scream with laughter when the blocks tumbled. Off course there was pushing and hitting and pulling involved but they played more and fought very less. So it was nice.

\

Also after playing with blocks, they went on to put it on each others head.

We had dinner together and both Aryan and Sanjith ate aaloo parantha and raita. And topped it off with fresh blueberries and then later kesar pista icecream. Aryan was very sad to see Sanjith leave. He kept asking us about Sanjith and also tells us that he played with ball with Sanjith and that he played with blocks. He told me yesterday that "Sanjith went in a car and Aryan said bye bye Sanjith".
So I guess Aryan is now getting at an age where he enjoys playing with other kids his age.

We doNOT need all those Expensive Toys

I have heard my parents say that they DONOT need to spend $$$$ on my toys since I always find something ELSE to play with.

I guess they now understand that we kids DONOT need all the expensive toys. We are just happy with the discarded plastic containers, petroleum jelly can, permanant markers, old magazines to tear pages off in tiny pieces, jump from the sofa to the floor and lots of HUGS and TEARS in between.

Here are some of the stuff that I DO with my non-Toys.

I Can't Believe it's Butter!! But the container sure is a nice HAT.

PS. My greatgrand maa washed it to use for moongfali storage. I found a better use of it - as a HAT.

I like to climb on the sofa and jump or slide off of it. My parents have put a layer of 4 sleeping bags on the floor for my soft-landing :).

I Like to pour water in and out of water bottles. It is great fun.

And drink a bit in-between. Do you like my Real-Cap. I loved it so much that I must have gone to sleep with the cap on. But it disappeared after few days. Must be my mom, may be she wanted to get rid of my Hat-addiction.

Oh Yeah! I do clean up after myself. That way I can make as much mess as I want. I tell you...Cleaning is fun but making a mess is even more FUN.

Another in-expensive fun - Watching Nursery rhymes on youtube and singing with it.

Oh and there are so many others to list. May be another time.

Lots of Hugs and Giggles and few tears.

Roti Making - the hardest thing to make

Continuing with the cooking saga, here comes the hardest of all- The Roti Making. So follow very carefully my friends since it is really hard.

So here we go..

Step 1. You take a small dough piece. Make a ball and flatten it.

Step 2. Get ready to roll it on the rolling surface.

Step 3. It WILL for sure get stuck to either the board or your rolling pin (belan).

Step 3. Ask mommy to dust it with some flour and roll again.

Step 4. Roll some more. Make sure you dust it with flour time to time.

Step 5. Keep rolling. Try to roll with soft hands and also keep dusting.

Step 5. When you think you have reached the desired thickness. Stop rolling. For a good Roti, it needs to be round and equal thickness all around.

Step 6. Give it to mommy for cooking on a pan (tava). I thought I will taste it just like that. I tell you the raw Roti was yucky. I think it tastes better if it is cooked.

So hope you enjoy the roti with some sabji and daal. Healthy Eating Always.

Sandwich Making

Well, I do help my mommy in cooking. So here I am showing off my skills in making sandwiches. So follow along folks.

Step 1. Put the bread in the sandwich maker.

Step 2. Close the top.

Step 3. Oops!! forgot to put the other piece of bread.

Step 4. The other piece of bread is little bit big. So eat a bit to make it fit.

Step 4. Adjust the breads in the sandwich maker to fit. Close the Top.

Step 5. Be careful when you open because it might be very hot.

Step 6. Oh Yeah! I make licking good sandwiches. Want some. Come over to my place.

Well as you may have noticed, the sandwich maker was not plugged in. That is how I am allowed to make sandwiches, until I grow up a bit more.

Love Always and always Keep Smiling.

Dancing with Rushil

This was last month, December 6th to be exact. We went to Rushil's place to celebrate his parents wedding anniversary. It was lot of fun as you can see here..

We went to eat at an Indian Resturant and then came back to Rushil's home to enjoy the rest of the evening...

I danced with Rushil on the songs of Rab ne bana di jodi and also Ghajini. You should have seen mine and Rushil's dance moves..... mind blowing...

Then we needed some energy... So got some snacks and juice.. and to top it off... Nursey rhymes from you tube on I-Phone. I tell you... these I-phones are cool things.

Then we cut the yummy chocolate cake that Vinita aunty made with chocolate icing with real chocolate melted on top. So everybody enjoyed the yummy cake.

Rushil and his parents (Vinita and Rohit) cutting the cake and enjoying it too.

Well after this our parents made us say nite-nite and off to dreamland I and Rushil went. Then I heard the next morning that our parents played board game until 2:30a.m and then we got home around 3:00 a.m. I was still in dreamland so didn't know that we came home soo late. Well that's OK because everybody needs to enjoy weekends.

Well Enjoy your weekends and yes don't forget to dance with your friends and eat chocolate cake too. :)

It is always on our minds but we were so busy enjoying life with Aryan that we forgot to update the blog!!! Well we are still enjoying our beautiful life and would want you to enjoy part of our life through Aryan's blog.

We promise, we will keep updating his blog.

So without much delay, here it is from Aryan...

What is so amazing about this picture :

Well... it shows my love for oranges :) ..

Today, I colored all over myself when mommy was busy cooking :) :)...
But Papa is not going to be happy. :( Because he is one who has to scrub these marks off in the morning before I go to daycare. Hmmmm sorry Papa.... but it was really fun to ummmm color my face and my hands and my feet with the non-toxic (mommy always looks for that kind) markers.
